Loot Bag and Book Drive

Kick off your spring cleaning purge by rounding up any small, gently used toys and previously loved books.   Loot bags and books should be dropped off in the Loot Bin outside the office any time before Thursday May 25th.

Please look around your house for small toys and books that you no longer use and send them back to the school. A paper bag was provided for your convenience into students’ backpacks. Lootbag toys and books can be dropped off in bins outside of the office by Thursday, May 25th.

The success of Garden Fête would not be possible without your generous support. If you would like to make a financial donation to help offset the cost of this special community event, it can be placed in the Garden Fête box in the office. Please make cheques payable to “Brown Parent Council”. If you have questions, please feel free to email

Featured Activity: Little Entrepreneurs

The Parent Council is hosting its first ever Little Entrepreneurs Zone at the 100th Garden Fête.  This is a chance for enterprising students to showcase their arts and crafts (and maybe make a small profit from their hard work).

Come check out the amazing creative ideas of our little entrepreneurs at Garden Fête!

Did you know…

The first ever Brown School Garden Féte took place on the spacious lawns and gardens of the “Oaklands” estate belonging to Miss Virginia McCormack, the entrance to which was 121 Farnham!
